The Women of the ELCA at St. James have 3 circles:
Chloe Circle
Meets at members’ homes on the 1st Thursday of the month at 7:00 pm. Duties include various local charity projects and hosting our Palm Sunday breakfast.
Mary Circle
Meets at members’ homes on the 4th Tuesday of the month at 7:00 pm. Duties include Lutheran World Relief School Kits and various local charity projects.
Naomi Circle
This circle was created from the combined Martha and Sarah Circles in 2023. They meet at the church on the 1st Tuesday of the month at 1:30 pm. Duties include Lutheran World Relief, Layettes, Sewing Kits and Lutheran Welfare and Mission Action.

St. James Women’s Retreat
The 2025 Women’s Retreat will be held on February 22-23, 2025 at Holy Wisdom Monastery.
